6. Sustainability Criteria
To promote environmentally friendly accommodations on Green Stay Croatia, each listing must meet a minimum of 6 out of the following 12 main sustainability criteria. Accommodations self-assess and describe these sustainability features in detail in their applications. Visitors/guests are encouraged to recognize ecological quality during their stay and can leave detailed comments accordingly via email.
Main Sustainability Criteria (at least 6):
- Use of Recycling Bins: provide separate bins for the collection of recyclable waste to encourage waste sorting.
- Reduced Use of Single-Use Plastics: limiting or completely banning the use of single-use plastics, such as plastic bottles, bags, and utensils, to reduce the negative environmental impact.
- Implementation of Efficient Water Consumption Devices: installing low-flow faucets to reduce water consumption during handwashing, showering, and cleaning.
- Enhancement of Local Development: offering information and opportunities for guests to engage in local traditions and cultural events, promoting traditional products and souvenirs to support the local economy.
- Locally Sourced Food: serving food produced or grown locally to support local agriculture.
- Use of Renewable Energy: ensuring that the energy required for the property comes from renewable sources (e.g., solar thermal panels).
- Use of Class A Household Appliances: choosing household appliances with an energy class A to reduce energy consumption.
- Use of LED Bulbs: using energy-efficient LED bulbs that consume less energy than traditional bulbs.
- Use of Eco-Friendly Cleaning Products: using environmentally friendly cleaning agents to reduce the use of environmentally harmful chemicals.

Both hosts and visitors/guests have the option to register and become members of Green Stay Croatia.

Green Stay Croatia reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Green Stay Croatia account and access to the website and services if any information provided during registration or later is found to be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete.

Accommodations that meet at least 6 out of 12 sustainability criteria can advertise their tourist property on Green Stay Croatia, showcasing their ecological features, green initiatives, and special offers.
To advertise their sustainable tourist property, they need to choose one of the following membership packages:

- Promotion on social media
- Highlighted sustainability measures and certificates
- Customer support
Green Plus - 18 euros/month or 216 euros/year - annual payment only/no commission
- Profile on Green Stay Croatia
- Promotion on social media
- Highlighted sustainability measures and certificates
- Direct contact with travelers
- Publishing 6 authentic stories annually about the property and sustainability
- Inclusion in the Facebook group
- Promotion of special property offers
- Creation and publishing of property videos
- Customer support
Premium Green - 25 euros/month or 300 euros/year - annual payment only/no commission
- Everything included in the "Green Plus" package with additional benefits
- Publishing 12 authentic stories annually about the property and sustainability
- Property showcase in a prominent place on the website
- Newsletter to subscribers about the property and offers on a monthly basis
Note: A one-time setup fee of 10 EUR covers the profile creation. Automatic renewal occurs if the membership is not canceled via email. We send an email notification about the expiration of membership 7 days before expiration.
These packages offer a range of benefits, from increased visibility and booking numbers with personalized promotion on social media to authentic stories, blog posts, and newsletters, providing a comprehensive platform for showcasing eco-friendly accommodations on Green Stay Croatia.
9. Responsibility for Listings and Content
Users can publish accommodation after providing all necessary information.
Each member of Green Stay Croatia agrees to be solely responsible for the content of their listings. Members guarantee that their content complies with applicable laws, tax requirements, and regulations and does not violate contracts with third parties. Green Stay Croatia does not assume responsibility for legal compliance or contracts with third parties. The platform reserves the right to remove or disable access to any listing deemed inappropriate without prior notice.
Members are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information in their listings, including sustainability characteristics and prices.
The Green Stay Croatia website serves to facilitate interaction between eco-friendly accommodation and visitors/guests. The platform does not control the content in listings or the legality and condition of rented spaces. Green Stay Croatia disclaims any responsibility regarding the accuracy, quality, or environmental assessment of the listed accommodations.
