To promote environmentally friendly accommodations on Green Stay Croatia, each listing must meet a minimum of 6 out of the following 12 main sustainability criteria. Accommodations self-assess and describe these sustainability features in detail in their applications. Visitors/guests are encouraged to recognize ecological quality during their stay and can leave detailed comments accordingly via email.

  1. Use of Recycling Bins: provide separate bins for the collection of recyclable waste to encourage waste sorting.
  2. Reduced Use of Single-Use Plastics: limiting or completely banning the use of single-use plastics, such as plastic bottles, bags, and utensils, to reduce the negative environmental impact.
  3. Implementation of Efficient Water Consumption Devices: installing low-flow faucets to reduce water consumption during handwashing, showering, and cleaning.

Note: A one-time setup fee of 10 EUR covers the profile creation. Automatic renewal occurs if the membership is not canceled via email. We send an email notification about the expiration of membership 7 days before expiration.

Green Stay Croatia does not assume responsibility for legal compliance or contracts with third parties. The platform reserves the right to remove or disable access to any listing deemed inappropriate without prior notice.

Members are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information in their listings, including sustainability characteristics and prices.
